Mistercoin accepts  credit and debit cards issued by VISA and MasterCard. Also, we accept some virtual and prepaid cards. To avoid cash advance fee we recommend to use a debit card.

We only process credit and debit cards and we do not accept any other payment methods (such as wire transfers).

Please note that we do not support American Express and Discover cards. In addition, we are currently unable to support Bank of America cards.

Note, however, that some issuer banks have their own terms regarding where and when those cards can be used, and may decline the charge on their side.

Currently you can purchase Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, EthereumRippleDashLitecoin andNEO.

Kindly be informed that Mistercoin is not a cryptocurrency provider, we are an online credit card processor that is in partnership with cryptocurrency providers and cryptocurrency purchase platforms.

We plan to start supporting other cryptocurrencies in the near future.

Your card was not charged for any declined payments. It was a credit card authorization check, rather than a charge; the money was held by your bank pending approval or cancellation of those payments.

When your payment is declined, the authorization is voided and the money should be released back into your account within 3 business days (weekends not included). If for some reason the authorization hold is not released, please check the following:

  1. Is the charge to “Simplex” visible in your banking statement?
  2. How long has it been since you have carried out a payment?
  3. Were any weekends included into the authorization hold period? Please kindly note, that authorization hold is not being released during the weekends.

If the charge is still visible 3 days (not including the weekends) after the refusal of your transaction and the charge is still visible on your card, please contact our support team.

In some cases, your transaction may have already been approved, however your cryptocurrency is still transferring. Please be assured that if your payment has been approved by us, you will receive your cryptocurrency. Registering transactions on the blockchain can take time and this is due to a variety of factors which Simplex has no control over.

You can check on the delivery of your cryptocurrency by copying and pasting your crypto-address on one of the blockchain websites, depending on which cryptocurrency you purchased e.g. BTCETHBCHLTC.

Here’s a video of how to look up a Bitcoin transaction. The same process applies for all cryptocurrencies.

To check on the current average confirmation time of blockchain transactions for Bitcoin, please click here.

When you first made the order, your bank reserved the amount requested; that amount was then put into what is called an authorization hold or pre-authorization state.

This is done to ensure that the card owner has sufficient funds, while we verify your transaction.

In addition, transactions on the blockchain take time. Your transaction may have already been approved, however, your cryptocurrency is still transferring. To check on the current average confirmation time of blockchain transactions, please click here.

Note:

  • If you do not complete the verification process, or if your transaction was declined, your payment is automatically canceled and the amount will be released by your bank from the authorization hold within 3 business days.

You can use both debit and credit cards to purchase cryptocurrencies through Mistercoin.

Please note that depending on your issuing bank, you may incur additional fees when using a credit card.

The issuing bank is the financial institution that issues credit and debit cards to customers on behalf of the card networks, such as Visa and MasterCard. Issuing banks are also known as card issuers.

In general, debit cards are more frequently approved than are credit cards.

Usually, payments are processed immediately.

In extreme cases, due to delays in identity verification or high demands on cryptocurrency, processing can take up to 48-72 hours.

Delays can also happen due to an unanswered verification request from Simplex.

If your transaction hasn’t been approved, you can always easily check the status of your payment here by entering your payment ID. If your transaction is still pending, but you cannot locate any verification requests, please click here.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the cryptocurrency address – once the cryptocurrency is sent, we have no more control over it, and our part in the transaction is over.

Please note, that only if your transaction is currently pending, it is possible to cancel it and after cancellation you can issue a new payment with the correct cryptocurrency address.

Our company allows private users to buy cryptocurrency online using their own cards. Since it was indeed you who bought the cryptocurrency and we did send the cryptocurrency to the address that you requested, unfortunately, there is nothing more that we can do.

A payment can be cancelled as long as it has not come to a final decision (approved/canceled/declined).

If you did not fulfill our verification requirements, your payment will be automatically cancelled. There are no cancellation fees.

Please note that once a payment is approved, it is not possible to cancel it.

If you have a pending payment that you wish to cancel, you may contact our support.

Once a transaction has been made, it is not possible to edit any of the payment details. For example, it is not possible to change the cryptocurrency address once the payment has been submitted.

Unfortunately, due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions, we do not offer refunds.

The blockchains’ ledger ensures that the transactions are finalized by its inputs confirmed by miners. The confirmations make each cryptocurrency unit unique and its subsequent transactions legitimate. If one tried to duplicate a transaction the original blocks deterministic functions would change showing the network that it is counterfeit and would not to be accepted.

For more information, you can read about our refund policy in our Terms of Use.

In case you have received an email from our partner Simplex or are seeing a charge from Simplex on your bank account, and you are not the one who made the payment, please contact us for further assistance.

Please note, that according to our partner’s policy, once a chargeback is being issued we will be unable to approve your future transactions.

When a chargeback is submitted, it is up to your issuing bank to refund the money. Unfortunately, this process is out of our control and we are unable to provide more information on when the money will be returned to you.

Please note that submitting a chargeback automatically means that you will not be able to use our services in the future.

You can easily check the status of your transaction on our Payment Status page. For that you will only need a payment ID – for each payment you do we send you emails with the payment ID listed in them. They are consisting of a long string of letters and numbers.

To check the status of your transaction:

  1. Click the “My Payment Status” button on our Simplex page;
  2. Insert your Simplex payment ID;
  3. Click “Go”.

You will then be able to see the status of your payment.

If you run into any issue while checking the status of your transaction, or if you have any questions concerning the status message, please contact our support team.

Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose our decline reasons because we do not wish to expose how our AI payment checking system works to any external parties as it may be used fraudulently. It’s nothing personal, we are just protecting your data.

However, in certain cases, we may be able to advise the decline reason. Please contact us through Support center with your Payment ID and put “Decline Reason” in the subject line or initiate a live conversation with our 24/7 support team by hitting a green label in the bottom right corner of our homepage.
